20 ans de l'association
On February 28, 2025, we celebrated our 20th anniversary with an evening event at Club 13 in Paris. It was a gathering rich in discussions and encounters, attended by Mohamed Ixa, president of the NGO Tidène.
The evening began with the screening of Ingrid Pernet-Duparc's film Grands Quelqu’Uns, an emotional journey through the history of our associations and the deep friendship between Christel and Mohamed. This retrospective highlighted our major achievements:
- 350 wells built, providing access to clean water for thousands of people.
- 13 schools constructed, ensuring sustainable education for 720 children.
- 16 women's cooperatives established, fostering economic empowerment in the region.
- As well as projects in healthcare, agriculture, literacy training, and emergency support for families.
Following the screening, a thought-provoking debate was led by David Pujadas, with the participation of Niagalé Bagayoko. Christel Pernet took the stage to express heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to this incredible human and solidarity-driven adventure. She emphasized the crucial role of Mohamed Ixa and the NGO Tidène, underscoring that this success is the result of a strong partnership and a shared vision for the development of the Agadez region.
This celebration marked 20 years of cooperation, fraternity, generosity, shared struggles, and unwavering commitment. 20 years of partnership with Tidène, without whom none of this would have been possible. 20 years of deep friendship and mutual respect between our associations.
This milestone strengthens our determination to continue our mission in support of the desert communities. With the ongoing support of our partners and donors, and despite the challenges we face, we look to the future with ambition, ready to take on new challenges!
