A group of six students in their final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, specializing in Business and International Trade at IAE Savoie Mont-Blanc, has chosen to support the association Les Puits du Désert as part of their “Sustainable Development Project” course.

As part of this university program, students are required to design and implement a concrete initiative related to sustainable development and international issues. Their work will be evaluated through an oral presentation and the creation of a stand during a university event, where they will present both the partner association and the project they are carrying out.

Several initiatives have already been launched. On March 10, the students organized a first event at the university in Chambéry, setting up a stand to introduce the association and present the project. Additional awareness-raising activities are also planned for students on campus.

On March 27, during a forum organized by the university, they will host another stand dedicated to the association and its activities. A small beverage sale will be organized to raise awareness among visitors and encourage them to contribute to the funding of a student’s schooling supported by the association.

The students have also opened an online fundraising page to contribute concretely to this initiative. In addition, excerpts from a documentary about the projects carried out in Niger will be shown several times in a dedicated room so that students can better understand the work being done on the ground.

To share the progress of their actions and raise awareness among other young people, the students have also created a dedicated Instagram account for their project called ESPERIABCI, where they will regularly post updates, photos and information about their activities.

This collaboration reflects the spirit of Les Puits du Désert, where a committed and relatively young team works every day to develop and support the association’s projects.

We warmly welcome the commitment and enthusiasm of these students, who have chosen to dedicate their university project to a meaningful solidarity initiative. Congratulations to them for this great effort.
